BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE:
* Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical problems; pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding. * Check with your Doctor, Pharmacists, or Nurse if information in this leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information about your medicine and its use. * Inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions : HEART CONDITION or HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE; DIABETES; THYROID problem; GLAUCOMA; CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE (COPD); PROSTATE problem; PEPTIC ULCER; ASTHMA.
COMMON USES FOR THIS MEDICINE:         TOP
1- For the treatment of COUGH 2- For the treatment of ACUTE NASOPHARYNGITIS [COMMON COLD]
HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINE:         TOP
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor * Take this medicine WITH food, a meal, or a snack. Do not take on an empty stomach. * Swallow TABLETS whole; DO NOT cut, crush or chew. Take with plenty of water or other appropriate fluids. * DO NOT EXCEED recommended dosage.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE:
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
HOW TO STORE THIS MEDICINE:
Keep in original closed container in a dark, cool, and dry place away from children. Discard unneeded medicine.
STOP TAKING THIS MEDICINE AND GET EMERGENCY HELP IMMEDIATELY IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING OCCURS (SEE SYMPTOMS BELOW):
Shortness of breath, fast or irregular breathing, fever, joint pain, fast pulse, lightheadedness or fainting, swelling of face, hives, & itching.
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE:
Yellowing of eyes or skin; Shakiness; Irregular heartbeat; Skin rash; Blurred vision; Difficult urination; Breathing difficulty; Swelling of the extremities.
OTHER SIDE EFFECTS:
Dizziness; Vomiting; Difficulty falling asleep; Nausea; Headache; Stomach discomfort or pain; Drowsiness; Sedation; Dry mouth; Dry throat; Constipation.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE, CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:
* STOP TAKING MEDICINE & GET EMERGENCY HELP IMMEDIATELY IF A HYPERSENSITIVITY OR ANAPHYLACTIC REACTION occurs: (see symptoms below):- * shortness of breath, fast or irregular breathing, fever, joint pain, fast pulse, lightheadedness or fainting, swelling of face, hives, & itching. * Safety of use during pregnancy has not been established. This medicine SHOULD NOT BE USED DURING PREGNANCY unless benefit justifies potential risk to the fetus. CALL YOUR DOCTOR. * This medicine may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. DO NOT drive or operate machines until you know how you react to this medicine. * AVOID concurrent use of alcohol or other CNS depressants as it may intensify the drowsiness, dizziness, or lightheadedness effect of this medicine. * Because of INTERACTIONS, report the use of any other prescription or nonprescription medicines, including natural/herbal remedies, to your doctor. * The results of some MEDICAL or LAB tests may be affected by this medicine. Inform the doctor in charge that you are taking this medicine. * This medicine may cause increased sensitivity to the sun. You should AVOID prolonged or excessive exposure to direct and/or artificial sunlight.
